I am not sure how I got into this class without wanting to be an architect, my professor says it will help me if I really want to become a construction engineer. Of course that is what my family expects me to be and that is where the family business leads me. I think this LEED certification has a lot of things going for it if you were wise about it instead of going totally overboard with it. I have been speaking to my father about it and he already does the things which are sensible for his clients. Every client who has a building constructed should be looking to be as efficient as he possibly can be and you have to give that to your clients or you are never going to win a job. Some of these building seem to take it well overboard, past the point where it makes that same common sense. I need to learn how to do it, because the clients are going to want it to some degree or another.

After I gather up the information, I would go and check out the apartments. When I first get to the city I will stay in the hotel while I go and look at the apartments that I have found.

For the past three months I have been working in a Chicago real estate law office, and it has been non-stop excitement and action. I had no idea how demanding a job in real estate law would be, but I can assure you that I never have a moment to myself. I wasn’t aware of this when I started, but summer is the busy time for Chicago real estate law. Right now, being that it is summer, our phones are ringing off the hook with leads from locals who need legal representation. I am only a receptionist, but I have quickly learned that you need to be very gentle and delicate with any potential client over the phone because there is so much money at stake when it comes to real estate law. The right case can double your profit margin. It is a lot of pressure to be answering phone in this real estate law office, but I feel confident that I am the best man for the job.
